Google My Business!
Google recently rolled out a free new service called Google My Business that it says will better integrate its services for customers searching for your firm via Google Search, Maps or Google+.
More a suite of services than one tool, Google My Business can update all your business’ information; add photos and reviews; and post news, events, photos and anything else you want customers to see on Google+. Google+ is a main Facebook rival. In October 2013, Google says it counted 540 million active users who used at least one Google+ service, of which 300 million users are active.
After signing up and filling in the requisite information, Google My Business will add your information to Google Search, Google Maps and Google+, allowing customers to find you no matter what device or service they happen to be using at the time.
The idea is that customers can more easily find information when they need it, whether it’s driving directions to your business in Maps, hours of operations in Search or a phone number they can then click to call you. Customers can also show their appreciation with ratings and reviews, use the +1 button to endorse your content and re-share your Google+ posts.
