Meet our partners: Missouri Innovation Center
The BDP works with numerous partners every day to deliver the best possible services to new and growing businesses in Missouri. We are proud to highlight one of them in this issue, the Missouri Innovation Center.
What is the Missouri Innovation Center?
It’s a non-profit organization that helps high-growth mid-Missouri potential business ventures navigate the often daunting maze of commercialization through mentoring, securing financial support and providing the resources to conduct R&D.
The center’s programs fall into the following categories:
- Developing the culture and processes for technology entrepreneurship in mid-Missouri
- Delivering full-cycle technology commercialization services
- Operating the MU Life Science Incubator at Monsanto Place in affiliation with the University of Missouri
- Providing a business mentoring and incubation program.
The center also maintains close affiliations with the MU Trulaske College of Business and Centennial Investors, a mid-Missouri based angel investor network.
